Aspects anthropologiques de la filiation en milieu créole. Implications éthiques des demandes d'accès à l'assistance médicale à la procréation

Resort to assisted reproductive technology (ART) has become a routine and a common practice. Henceforth, this technology questions the foundations of kinship itself. Department of La Reunion did not escape from these biotechnical innovations. An extensive study on sociocultural specificities of this insular community concerning kinship and genealogy will give an original approach of these questions. Loss of references in our modern societies foreshadows indeed the risks of an instrumentation of reproduction within a consumer society which may challenge the principles of humanity at term.
