Ratification de la convention d'Oviedo par la France

France signed the Oviedo convention, some fifteen years ago. At the end of 2011, France decided to ratify this convention. Authorized by French Parliament after the use of an unusual procedure, this ratification produces positive effects: it contributes to the development of the ethics, which, through juridical norms, are promoted by the Council of Europe. Moreover, it obliges French Parliament to respect, for future national legislation, the ethical principles expressed in the Oviedo convention. It could also, possibly, give birth to a dynamic propitious to the acceptation of this convention by other member States of the Council of Europe who already signed the Oviedo convention.
