چکیده انگلیسی
Will medicine become an applied science with man as the object, sacrificing its capacity for innovating intuition? Faced with technical progress, medicine is becoming a private club of initiated members which has lost its capacity to create an ethic inspired by the internal norms of its own activity. It must however be recalled that the living being only exists via the relation established with its environment. Simple modelization cannot account for the living being, as so many scientific physicians would like to believe. In this first paper, we would like to highlight the fact that each human being lives within a personal space and history. Medical practice must be sustained by a Hippocratic vision of phenomenologic philosophy which recalls that human life only exists and develops if it has a meaning. This implies reasons for being which cannot be reduced to a set of definable prerequisites. A second text to come will discuss more specific aspects of Hippocratic thought.
