New partner proteins containing novel internal recognition motif for human glutaminase interacting protein (hGIP)

► We identified two new human GIP partner proteins: DTX1 and STAU1. ► DTX1 and STAU1 contain novel hGIP recognition motif. ► DTX1 and STAU1 interact with hGIP in human mammalian cells. ► All the three proteins are involved in human neuronal function. ► These interactions may represent potential new drug targets in humans.
