Amino acid signatures in the Ovar-DRB1 peptide-binding pockets are associated with Ovine Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma susceptibility/resistance

► We examined amino acid motifs encoded by the Ovar-DRB1 gene 2nd exon in Latxa sheep. ► Extensive polymorphism was found, especially in residues of the peptide-binding site. ► Association was found between several amino acid residues and OPA progression.
