Identification of compounds that augment the lectin-sensitivity of Chinese Hamster Ovary cells

► A Screening was conducted for chemicals that alter the lectin-sensitivity of CHO-K1 cells. ► Chemicals that rendered CHO-K1 cells susceptible against all lectins tested were identified. ► These chemicals may serve as lead compounds for anti-cancer drugs.
