Blocking peptides against HBV: PreS1 protein selected from a phage display library

► Successfully selected specific PreS1-interacting peptides by using phage displayed library. ► Alignment of the positive phage clones revealed a consensus PreS1 binding motif. ► A highly enriched peptide named P7 had a strong binding ability for PreS1. ► P7 could block PreS1 attachment.
