GABA-shunt enzymes activity in GH3 cells with reduced level of PMCA2 or PMCA3 isoform

► Suppression of PMCA2 or PMCA3 slows down proliferation of GH3 cells. ► PMCA2 suppression lowers the activity of GABA-shunt enzymes. ► PMCA3 suppression increases the expression of glutamate decarboxylase 65. ► PMCA2 and PMCA3 function appears to be linked to regulation of GABA metabolism.
