The influence of natural mineral water on aquaporin water permeability and human natural killer cell activity

► We expressed six human and eight plant aquaporin genes in oocytes. ► We compared the permeability of aquaporins in different kinds of mineral water. ► We measured AQP levels and NK cell activity before and after consumption of water. ► Hita tenryosui water could activate human NK cell activity. ► Consumption of this mineral water can potentially improve human health.
