Gsdma3 is required for hair follicle differentiation in mice

► First, we provide direct evidence that mutation of Gsdma3 causes hair follicle differentiation deficiency. ► Second, we show that the Gsdma3 may be involved in Msx2/Foxn1/acidic hair keratin genetic pathway. ► Third, Gsdma3 expression pattern is defined in our study.
