A new pH-sensitive rectifying potassium channel in mitochondria from the embryonic rat hippocampus

► Two potassium channels were identify in embryonic rat hippocampus mitochondria. ► Low conductance potassium channel was regulated by pH. ► This channel does not correspond to any previously described potassium channels in mitochondria.
