Epigenetic modifications and mRNA levels of the imprinted gene Grb10 in serially passaged fibroblast cells

► We examine epigenetic changes in Grb10 in serially passaged adult mouse fibroblasts. ► The amount of methylated histone H3K27me3 reduced after extended cultivation. ► The amount of acetylated histones H3Ac and H4Ac increased after extended cultivation. ► There was a global reduction in DNA methylation after extended cultivation.
