Pol kappa partially rescues MMR-dependent cytotoxicity of O6-methylguanine

► Human pol κ is involved in the MMR-dependent cytotoxic processing of O6-methylguanine. ► Rad51 assists DNA pol κ in the TLS response of O6-methylguanine. ► Pol κ does not affect O6-methylguanine-induced mutagenicity.
