Effects of intracisternal administration of cannabidiol on the cardiovascular and behavioral responses to acute restraint stress

► Systemic administration of CBD is able to attenuate responses induced by restraint stress (RS). ► The brain structures involved of CBD antiaversive effects remain poorly understood. ► We investigated the effects of CBD injected into the cisterna magna in the RS. ► We verified that CBD attenuates autonomic and behavioral responses induced by RS.
