Expression and purification recombinant human dentin sialoprotein in Escherichia coli and its effects on human dental pulp cells

► rhDSP significantly enhanced human dental pulp cells (hDPCs) adhesion activity and proliferation. ► rhDSP plays an important role in differentiation and mineralization of hDPCs. ► Taken together, our data suggest that DSP can be used to improve tooth repair and regeneration.
