Local inflammation after administration of vaccines is the most-frequently observed allergic reaction. However, some vaccine components have been identified as responsible for potentially-serious anaphylactic reactions. For this reason, we must question the patient about the history of allergic reaction after administration of vaccines and arrange for the necessary equipment to be available in case an emergency occurs.
