Impact of estradiol, ER subtype specific agonists and genistein on energy homeostasis in a rat model of nutrition induced obesity
چکیده انگلیسی
► ER alpha and ER beta selective agonists reduce visceral fat mass. ► Effects of E2 on serum lipids are predominantly mediated via the ER alpha. ► Dietary genistein does not affect visceral fat mass and blood lipids. ► ER beta selective agonists modulate soleus muscle mRNA expression of Igf1 and Pax7. ► ER beta selective agonists possess anabolic activity.
