Electrochemical properties of a series of Co(II) complexes, containing substituted phenanthrolines

A variation of the linear relationships which were obtained between the CoIII/II and CoII/I redox couples and various experimental and empirical values, can be used in the design of customized new substituted phenanthroline-Co(II) complexes with specific redox properties, as required for application as redox mediator for dye-sensitized solar cells.264
