A simplified approach to predict the heat of melting for organic compounds

► This work provides a simple method to predict the entropy and heat of melting. ► Only three molecular geometric descriptors are used and they are based on chemical structure. ► No training data set and any regressions or computer based analyses are required for the prediction.
