Study on 3,3,7,7,9-Pentamethyl-1,5-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecan-8-one by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy

Being recognized as a key intermediate in the synthesis of many kinds of natural products, 3,3,7,7,9-pentamethyl-1,5-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecan-8-one was synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, and several kinds of 2D NMR experiments. The chemical shifts were fully assigned. The information given in this study is valuable for the structure analysis of title compound and related complicated compounds.
