Application of Dendrimers in Analytical Chemistry

Dendrimers are a new type of macromolecules that could be synthesized with deliberate design and reproducible procedures. They have hyperbranched structure and a lot of space inside with multiple functional groups on the surface. As of today, there have been many reports about the applications of dendrimers. This review focuses primarily on the preparation and their applications in the fields of analytical chemistry, nanotechnology, pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry etc.
