Génesis de la formación científica de Pedro Joseph-Nathan

Pedro Joseph-Nathan is one of the most important scientists in Mexico. He is an expert in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Natural Products Chemistry, and he has published 430 specialized articles. Dr. Joseph-Nathan graduated in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the National School of Chemical Sciences (encq by its acronym in Spanish), nowadays Chemistry Faculty at the unam, and he got his doctorate in Chemical Sciences in the Chemistry Faculty. The aim of this paper is to describe his academic career; particularly, his student stage, how he became interested in scientific research and his first years as investigator. This work also describes his first academic interests and scientific contributions in natural products chemistry.
