Performance of single particle fritted capillary columns in electrochromatography

► A purely physical fritting method was developed to prepare packed capillary columns. ► The permeable prefabricated frits have consistent short length of ∼100 μm. ► Significantly improved column-to-column reproducibility was obtained. ► Highly stable and efficient CEC separations were demonstrated.
