Computation of distribution of minimum resolution for log-normal distribution of chromatographic peak heights

► Equations were derived for calculating the distribution of minimum resolution. ► The equations were applied to a log-normal distribution of peak heights. ► The type of resolution distribution was extended beyond that for all peak heights. ► All resolution distributions were confirmed by Monte Carlo simulation.
