Vibrational spectra of l-histidine perchlorate and l-histidine tetrafluoroborate

Attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR ATR) and Fourier transform Raman spectra of l-histidine perchlorate (l-His.HClO4) and l-histidine tetrafluoroborate (l-His.HBF4) crystals are discussed and compared with previously published data. A probable reason of discrepancy with previously published spectra is pointed out.
