19F NMR: An underused efficient probe for paramagnetic metal centers in bioinorganic solution chemistry

The application of solution studies in bioinorganic chemistry through paramagnetic 19F NMR is briefly reviewed. In Section 2 we summarize some theoretical aspects. Selected applications from bioinorganic chemistry (enzymes and models) can be found in Sections 3 and 4.
