Substitution of trans ligands in μ-oxo-bis(μ-acetato)diruthenium(III) complexes: Synthesis and kinetic studies

Lability of trans ligands in [Ru2O(L)6(acetate)2](PF6)2 {L = pyridine or 4-picoline} has been demonstrated. Lability of trans ligands could be utilized to synthesize trans disubstituted complexes facilely.
