Complexation of lead(II) by nicotinamide (nia): Crystal structure of polymeric Pb(nia)(NO3)2

Lead(II) nitrate(V) complex with nicotinamide has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopically and by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure reveals two-dimensional polymeric double layers.
