Rigid-rod structured palladium complexes

The preparation of mono- and homo-bimetallic palladium complexes of structural type [trans-(Me(O)CS-4-C6H4)(PPh3)2Pd(N∩N)]+ and {[trans-(Me(O)CS-4-C6H4)(PPh3)2Pd]2(N∩N)}2+ (N∩N = dinitrogen Lewis-bases) is reported. The result of the X-ray structure analysis of two species is discussed.
