Assembly of three novel 2D frameworks with helical chains based on [H2W12O40]6− clusters and lanthanide - Organic complexes

Three novel compounds [(C6H5NO2)Ln(H2O)5]2[H2W12O40] · nH2O (Ln = Ce3+ (1), Pr3+ (2), n = 7; Nd3+ (3), n = 6) have been obtained from a conventional synthesis method. The compounds 1-3 are the first examples of helical layer structure consisting of α-metatungstate clusters and lanthanide-organic complex building blocks.
