A novel copper(II)-radical complex with ferromagnetic interaction: Synthesis, crystal structure and magnetic properties

In this paper, we present the synthesis, structure and magnetic property of a novel copper(II) complex [Cu(NITmPy)(PDA)(H2O)] · (H2O), which has a two-dimensional structure connected by the intermolecular hydrogen bonds and shows intramolecular ferromagnetic interactions between the Cu(II) ion and NITmPy. The magnetic behaviors are discussed in detail in this paper.
