A systematic study of ligand intermolecular interactions in crystals of copper(II) complexes of bidentate guanidino derivatives

Cu(II) complexes of the bidentate ligands, N-(4-oxo-5,5-diphenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-N′-phenylguanidino, 2-guanidinobenzimidazolo and N-(4-oxo-3-phenyl-1,3-diazaspiro[4.4]non-1-en-2-yl)guanidino possess potential doublet (DA) or triplet (DAD) hydrogen bonding motifs and form extended supramolecular arrays involving hydrogen bonding or phenyl embraces.
