Cross-coupling of divinylorganosilicon compounds with vinylboranes in the presence of complexes containing Ru–H bonds (preferably [Ru(CO)ClH(PCy3)2]) leads to formation of borylfunctionalized dienes, which can be potentially used as monomers for polymerization reactions or reagents in Pd-catalyzed coupling. The influence of the catalyst, temperature, time and molar ratio of substrates and Ru-complex on the yields and selectivities of the obtained products were tested.
Cross-coupling of divinylorganosilicon compounds with vinylboranes in the presence of complexes containing Ru–H bonds is described. Borylfunctionalized silyldienes can be potentially used as monomers for polymerization reactions or reagents in Pd-catalyzed coupling.Figure optionsDownload as PowerPoint slide
