Reactions of trans-[RuCl2(CO)2(PEt3)2] with 1,1-dithiolates: Stepwise formation of cis-[Ru(CO)(PEt3)(S2X)] (XÂ =Â CNMe2, CNEt2, COEt, P(OEt)2, PPh2)

The reactivity of trans-[RuCl2(CO)2(PEt3)2] with a series of 1,1-dithiolate ligands has been investigated leading to the synthesis of cis-[Ru(CO)(PEt3)(dithiolate)2] complexes.
