Antimicrobial and immunomodulatory properties of prenylated xanthones from twigs of Garcinia staudtii

Four new prenylated xanthones (1-4), were isolated from the twigs of Garcinia staudtii together with five known xanthones. The antibacterial and immunomodulatory properties of some isolated compounds were evaluated.
