Synthesis, characterisation and cytotoxicity of chloro derivatives of prenylnaphthohydroquinone

A family of chloroprenylnaphthohydroquinoned derivatives have been synthesised from the acetylated Diels-Alder product 2, of α-myrcene and 2-chloro-1,4-benzoquinone. This family has been evaluated for their cytotoxicitiy against several neoplastic cell lines.
