Synthesis and spectral characterizations of Fe3+ doped β-BaB2O4 nano crystallite powder

► Fe3+ doped β-BaB2O4 nano crystallite powders prepared by co-precipitation method. ► Fe3+ ions entered host lattice as tetragonally distorted octahedral site. ► FT-IR spectrum showed Ba, BO3 and BO4 vibrations.
