Solid-state structure of O-aminoalkyl derivatives of 7-hydroxy-4-methylcoumarin by 13C CP/MAS NMR and X-ray diffraction methods

► 13C CP/MAS NMR spectra of O-aminoalkylcoumarins 1-3 indicate one conformer in solid-state. ► Acetyl group at C6 atom is located in the plane of coumarin moiety. ► Acetyl group at C8 atom it is situated out of this plane. ► Chain between C7 and N atoms is in an extended trans conformation. ► Crystal packing of 2 is defined by intermolecular CH⋯O hydrogen bonds and π⋯π forces.
