Bombardier throws down the gauntlet with CSeries airliner

Bombardier Aerospace says its CSeries will deliver a 20% fuel burn advantage, 15% lower operating costs and 25% lower maintenance costs compared to other aircraft in its class. The aircraft's low-weight airframe features extensive use of advanced structural materials, including composites in the wing, empennage, nacelle and rear fuselage.
