Curing agents improve rotor production

BASF has developed new epoxy resin systems specifically to aid the production of composite rotor blades for wind turbines. These products allow for significantly shorter cycle times and so increase productivity. Dr Gregor Daun, Business Manager Epoxy Systems, BASF's Intermediates Division, explains how they work.
