Cobalt-free curing based on iron

Anticipating increasing environmental pressure on cobalt, AkzoNobel has developed a range of cobalt-free accelerators for the unsaturated polyester resin market under the brand name Nouryact™. The company has now developed two accelerators which are primarily based on iron to expand its cobalt-free product portfolio. These new eco-premium products are highly reactive in a broad range of resins and can be used under many different conditions.
