Biomimetic synthesis of interlaced mesh structures TiO2 nanofibers with enhanced photocatalytic activity

The TiO2 nanofibers with interlaced mesh structures were prepared with PPs (the spongy white peels of pomelo peel) as the reactive substrate and directing template, and titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4) as titanium resource. And the as-prepared TiO2 samples exhibit highly photocatalytic activity and good stability for degrading methyl orange under UV light irradiation.216
