Influence of boron introduction on structure and electrochemical hydrogen storage properties of Ti-V-based alloys

Trace amounts of B element was introduced into Ti0.17Zr0.08V0.35Cr0.1Ni0.3 alloys. XRD patterns show that the introduction of B has little effect on the structure, while it remarkably influences the electrochemical performances. The cycle life and the high rate dischargeability (HRD) are obviously improved.727
