Platinum nanoparticle modified TiO2 nanorods with enhanced catalytic performances

Spontaneous catalytic combustion of methanol vapor occurred when more than 6 μl methanol vapor was exposed to the catalysts of Pt-TiO2 nanorods/Al2O3 fibers at room temperature.
