Fabrication of Mo-Si-B intermetallic powder by mechano-chemical process

Highlights
- Mechano-chemical process to fabricate intermetallic phases of Mo-Si-B system has been studied.
- The starting powders were MoO3, Si3N4 and BN.
- Nano-sized Mo (<200 nm) was obtained by hydrogen reduction.
- Intermetallic powders of Mo5SiB2 and Mo3Si were synthesized by continuative heat treatment.
