چکیده انگلیسی
• We propose a thermodynamic parameter θ, which exhibits a proportional correlation with GFA in the same Al-based alloy system.
• θ is refined into θ/M by the fragility of superheated liquid, and the refined parameter is proportional to GFA in the same Al-based alloy system.
• The refined parameter can be better to evaluate GFA in Al-based amorphous alloys.
A thermodynamic parameter θ, defined as the multiplication of the mixing entropy and mismatch entropy, is proposed to evaluate the glass-forming ability of Al-based amorphous alloys, and then it is refined into θ/M by the kinetic parameter M, which exhibits a better proportional correlation with GFA than θ for Al-based amorphous alloys in the same alloy system.
