Nanocrystalline SnO2 thin films: Structural, morphological, electrical transport and optical studies

► Novel chemical route of synthesis of SnO2 films. ► Physical properties SnO2 are influenced by process temperature. ► The room temperature electrical conductivity of SnO2 is of 10−7-10−5 (Ω cm)−1. ► SnO2 exhibit high absorption coefficient (104 cm−1).
