Structural characterization, electrical and dielectric relaxations in Dy-doped zirconia

► Dynamics of charge particle is probed using impedance spectroscopic technique. ► Total conductivity shows three different regions with different activation energy. ► Scaling behaviour of the system explains the ion dynamics in these three regions. ► Dielectric relaxation is clearly observed in the dielectric measurement data. ► Structural characterization is done using Raman, FTIR, UV, XRD and SEM techniques.
