Synthesis, magnetic, transport, and thermodynamic investigation of CeCo(Sb, Sn)3

► Single crystals of CeCo(Sb, Sn)3 has been synthesized via the flux-growth method. ► The structure of CeCo(Sb, Sn)3 has been studied using X-ray diffraction. ► The elemental composition for CeCo(Sb, Sn)3 was determined by EDS. ► Magnetic and thermodynamic data indicate magnetic correlations exist between Ce ions. ► Crystal field levels give rise to an erroneously larger Sommerfeld coefficient (γ).
