Contribution to the investigation of ternary Lu-Ni-Sn system

► Isothermal sections of Lu-Ni-Sn system were constructed at two temperatures. ► Two new ternary intermetallics were found and their crystal structure was refined. ► Three new binary compounds were found in Lu-Ni system. ► Comparison with other R-Ni-Sn systems was made.
